Streaming 3D Data

The MaxREAL Streaming Server is started by clicking on the Stream 3D on the main toolbar or using the Alt+S keyboard shortcut.  This will start the Streaming Server and depending the the Output Setup, it will display the Dynamic 3D Viewer or putMaxREAL in the Windows System Tray.  Unless you have disabled the TCP/IP Streaming Port in the Output Setup, the server will start listening on the port for a connection from a client.  Once connected, the server will start streaming data to the output port using the MaxREAL TCP/IP Streaming Protocol.  Please refer to this chapter for more information on the protocol.
