TCP/IP Streaming Protocol

The MaxREAL Streaming Protocol and Packet Formats are simple and and easy to implement yet efficient for fast response and minimal latency for Real-Time Applications. The protocol uses TCP/IP for transmission.  In it's simplest form, it's a one way streaming of data to a client.  There are a few commands that will allow a client to control the format and to start and stop streaming.

While the protocol is simple and easy to implement and use, by using the Command Extended Header, the client can implement full control of the MaxREAL host.
