This chapter describes the Shortcut Keys that are available in the different MaxREAL views.

 

Application Shortcut Keys

 

Shortcut Key

Description

Alt+L

Toggle Data Logging On or Off.  Refer to Data Logging for more information.

Alt+O

Display the Options Dialog.

Alt+S

Start Streaming 3D/6DOF data.

Alt+W

Enter the Application Workspace view.

Alt+¤

Show the Buttonbar

Alt+£

Hide the Buttonbar

Alt+H or F1

Display the MaxREAL On-Line Manual.  If F1 is pressed in Workspace or Stream3D views, the context help window is displayed.

Alt+X

Exit MaxREAL

 

Camera Workspace

 

Shortcut Key

Description

Alt+0

Toggle Marker Trace Mode in Camera View.  When trace is turned on, the markers are not erased between frames allowing you to see "traces" of markers as they move.

Alt+1

Toggle Coordinate Display in Camera Views.  This shows the 2D coordinates and the marker sizes for each detected marker.  Coordinates are only available in Marker view.

Alt+V

Toggles the Camera Views between Video and Marker views.  When Video is selected, the raw camera video is shown.  Marker view will show the digitized makers.

Alt+M

Show Markers in Camera Views.

 

Calibration Workspace

Description

C

Start Camera Calibration.

Shift+C

Load Calibration from file.  You can also press Shift and Click on the Calibration button

 

Stream3D View

 

Shortcut Key

Description

B or F9

Records a Rigid Body pose by using the current 3D body template to identify the Body Markers.  The recording is added to the current template to improve the accuracy of the template.  Optionally, you can create a new 3D template using the current name and settings.  For more information, please refer to Recording a Rigid Body.

F11

Toggle the display of the Stream3D view in full screen mode on or off.  To return to normal press F11 or ESC.

ESC

Return to normal view mode from full screen mode.

This will show or hide the embedded 2D camera views in the 3D view.

Toggles between 3D and 6DOF mode.  WHen 3D mode is selected, the raw 3D markers are shown.  These are the markers that will be used for the 6DOF transformations.  The 3D view is useful when adjusting 3D tracking parameters to optimize 3D reconstructions before 6DOF transformations.

This will show the 3D Body Markers that were used to identify the 6DOF Rigid Body.

This will draw a stick figure between the 3D Body Markers.

This will show the identified Rigid Body by displaying the Origin and its local coordinate system using X-Axis (Red), Y-Axis (Green) and Z-Axis (Blue).

This toggle the 3D traces of the Rigid Body Origin and/or the Body Markers.  You can set the length of the 3D traces in the Options Dialog.

This will toggle the display of the floor in the 3D view on or off.  Note; this will not change default in the Options Dialog.

This will toggle the display of the Camera(s) in the 3D view on or off.  Note; this will not change default in the Options Dialog.

Ctrl+Z

Undo last marker ID.

Del

Clear all marker IDs and start over.

Up/Down

Select Next/Previous marker in the table.
