Installing Rigid Body Recorder

 

The MaxREAL Rigid Body Recorder uses Octave interface and run-time libraries.  These are not installed by the standard MaxREAL installer.  To install the required interface and run-time, please select any of the options below.

 

MaxREAL can also use a Matlab version of the Body Recorder interface and run-time.  We have discontinued support for this but will still maintain a version for backwards compatibility.  If you prefer to use the Matlab version, please use Option 2 below and download the Matlab version instead.  Please be aware, the Matlab version requires a download of approximately 3 GB.

Start Download and Install Now

This option will download and start the installer.

Note;  The installer will try to run the installation as an Administrator using the "Run as administrator" option.

 

Go to downloads on www.innovision-systems.com

This option will open your default browser and take you to the download of "MakeRT3DTemplate for MaxREAL with Octave Runtime" on Innovision Systems download page.  From here you can download and run the installer.

 

Note; If you prefer to use the Matlab version, select "MakeRT3DTemplate for MaxREAL with Matlab Compiler Runtime" instead.

 

Copy Download URL and continue without installing

This option is similar to the above option except it will not open a browser window.  Select the options and then simply open your favorite browser and paste the link to download the installer.
